Privacy policy
A privacy site should hold itself to the standard it asks of VPNs. Here is exactly what this website collects, which is close to nothing.
Last updated 10 September 2026. This policy explains what Clearward collects when you read the site. The short version: we collect as little as we can, we do not sell anything, and we do not build a profile of you.
What we collect
Like any website, our host records basic server request logs (such as a truncated IP address and the page requested) for security and reliability, and these are retained only briefly. If we use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics, they are configured not to track individuals across sites and do not use advertising cookies. If you email us, we keep your message so we can reply.
What we do not do
We do not sell or rent your data, we do not run third-party advertising trackers, and we do not require an account to read anything. Newsletter signup, if you choose it, stores only your email address for the purpose of sending the newsletter, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links are affiliate links, which means the destination may know you arrived from Clearward. That is standard for affiliate programmes and is covered in full on our affiliate disclosure page. We do not receive your browsing history from those companies.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above. Questions about your data can go to [email protected].
